do you ever feel so strongly attached to a character that you cry when something sad happens?
cause I do.....it's almost like I take on the persona of the character when I read it
I cried during the alst 3 books I read.....is that even normal?
That's what really good writing does to the reader, it engrosses the person. I feel that way when I read a good book. I like Doestiovsky, Neitzche and plent of others. I like a lot of non-fiction too.
not only have i cried in a sad part of a book but i have also laughed (outloud as well ) ...
i totally agree with MooGooGaiPan that if a writter can get your emotions flowing then they have written a great book ...
a book is like a movie only you visulize inside your mind with a book unlike a movie where its being acted out infront of you ...
sometimes i think imagining parts of a book whilst reading it can be more personal ...
I cry only if it's really sad <<< but I don't necessarily have to feel a connection or anything...but usually if someone whom I really liked dies...then the tears just come automatically.
