Default WYSIWYG formatting broken?

Anybody offer any help?

Running firefox 1.5.0.4
Noscript extension installed and up to date (1.1.4.1)

Javascript allowed for C-A but none of the formatting controls are working - it's as if I've got JS turned completely off. Worse, if I enter a post and use the enter key, no line breaks appear. Plus any quote characters are parsed as the HTML """

I'm having to use netscape, which works fine with firefox rendering, but I just don't like netscape

And it only seems to be this site that it plays up on

Why not change to Standard Editing? W.y.s.i.w.y.g. sucks.

Standard is the exact same way. You don't get to see the formatting... but working with the tags can be fun =]

also if your post dosne't submit, you click the back button and it'll still be there. you'll have to retype it on wysiwyg

umm.. no.. you don't.. you can use your browser back and forward buttons even with the wysiwyg editor.. and it will retain your typing..

I have noticed that although the wysiwyg editor works pretty much for me.. my cursor keys don't seem to operate once in the editing window..

there are definitely some bugs in it

How is working with minimalist tags fun? It's not like you can format a post with divs or anything, or open something within your post in an iframe

I once typed up a huge tutorial and then it dind't submit. then the wysiwyg had to reload again, deleting the text.

Working with tags directly can be fun because you can actually edit them to use simple exploits.
