Legends Of Music.
Ok all you do is post who is your favourite and give a brief description why.
MINE HAS TO BE BOB MARLEY HIS MUSIC BROKE BOUNDERIES HE DIED IN THE SEVENTIES BUT HIS MUSIC YOU WOULD HAVE TO SAY IS IMORTAL EVERY BODY NOWS WHO BOB MARLEY WAS HE IS WITH OUT A DOUBT ONE OF THE GRATEST MUSICIANS SINGERS SONG WRITERS AND PERFORMERS OF ALL TIME.

Black Sabbath- They took rock music to a new dimension LITERALLY. They brought out a dark side that a lot of people could relate to.
I cant name one song from them or ozzy himself that i dont like.
Elvis- what can i say the dude made rock and roll what it is today. Not only in his music but also his stage performances
Lynyrd skynyrd- I have no words to describe how they have influenced music. A little bit of country/rock mixed into one definatly makes them my number one band of all time.
Bob dylan, Jimi Hendrix, Janis Joplin, CCR, Rush, Led zepplin.
the list could go on and on forever.
When i think Legends of music I think of the creators, the break through artists that started it all.

Desmond Dekker, without him there would have been no Bob Marley and no reggae music in general, he brought the Carribean music to the foreground both sides of the Atlantic ad a very sad loss to music that he died last month.

Ye he was great to and it is a shame he died but just like what you posted the great ones are always remembered you no what i mean they have staying power they stick in your mind.

There all excellent legends jenna except for one i think elvis is one of the most over rated stars of all time my self hes good dont get me wrong but hes not as pioneering as some of the other people you mentioned is he lets be honest.
