A couple of my poems...
My first ever poem when my grandad passed....
Grandad I watched you fading, and slowly slip away, I knew your time was close, it was getting closer by the day. Although I already knew, nothing could prepare, Prepare me for the worst, when you were no longer there. I know sometimes it seemed like I didn't really care, But I think you already know that I couldn't bear. I couldn't bear to see you, whilst you were so ill, Just to sit in your room, whilst you lay there so still. When I finally came, I came to say goodbye But, all that I could do is look at you and cry. I now know that you're happy and I fully understand, you've gone to a better place now, you're in your own special land. So now I'll take this chance to tell you that I care, I love and miss you lots and I'm glad you're now up there. You're up there, and pain is in the past, Although that you're gone, my love for you will last.
Second one...
I miss you, Grandad, very much,
You gave my life a special touch;
You did get angry and you did get mad,
But when you were gone I was nothing but sad;
Now that you've left I feel there's nothing more,
A piece of my heart, I felt was torn;
I went to see you I really did try,
But I knew it would be our last good-bye;
I saw your Angel she opened my eyes,
Ever since then, I'm not afraid to cry;
I carry your Angel here by my side,
It is in her, that I can confide;
I know one day we'll be together,
I will long for that day forever and ever.
This one i wrote for my mummy for Mothers Day...
You don’t know what you mean to me, and you'll probably never know. To me you mean the universe, the heavens and even snow!!
You warm my heart when I am sad, And even if I'm edgy or mad, you always allay my fears.
To me you are my confident, my friend in time of need. You've nurtured me through life's hard times, and told me about the bird's and bee's.
You've made me who I am today, the young woman that you see. And I'm eternally grateful to you, For your the Mum I want to be...
And this one i wrote for no reason at all..
A friend is someone we turn to
when our spirits need a lift.
A friend is someone we treasure
for our friendship is a gift.
A friend is someone who fills our lives
with beauty, joy, and grace.
And makes the whole world we live in
a better and happier place.

Awe the ones you wrote for your grand father were good.
It's too bad there's no heaven though.

Away from here. <3 :]
