Threads being closed wrongly?
Simple, do you think threads on C-A are being closed wrongly, debate this but LEAVE NAMES OUT, this is not a witch hunt for Mod's head this is a simple debate there for keep names out of posts thank you.
* Should the rules be broken specified on the post eg. names used, plz close this thread mods**

I don't see this as a viable debate.. It would be a waste of time to simply debate whether posts are being closed wrongly.. It would have to be simply Yes versus No.. Without names and situations being used as an example then it's a lil hard to state why you have your opinion, which is the main part of debating..
An quite simply, threads have always been closed wrongly here at Chat-Avenue.. At 1 time or another, for 1 reason or another, by 1 person or another.. It's not really something that needs to be debated, if your here long enough you'll know beyond any reasonable doubt that it does happen.. It shouldn't happen, but it does..

You can debate either way by stating instances with out naming names and giving mods reason to close this thread.
And it is simply Yes, Vs. No. Its still a valid debate.
Ofcorse there has been instances when this has occured, but i guess what i didnt make apparent which i thought most would have caught onto, is do they, or you believe it has increased latly.

Increased.. No.. I think it has massively decreased.. It does still happen, and as i said has always happened, so one would imagine that it will always happen whether it be by a universal mod or someone else..
An no, i don't believe you can state instances.. Stating the instance without naming names is just some sort of dirty way to get around the rules, which infact isn't really getting around the rules at all.. Yes Versus No is something worthy of a poll in the test forum, aslong as it's still following the rules and not causing schmack.. But Yes Versus No is not a debate:
1. To consider something; deliberate.
2. To engage in argument by discussing opposing points.
3. To engage in a formal discussion or argument.
To have any sort of proper debate on this matter then specific examples would need to be brought up, which i imagine is breaking the rules, and on top of that specific names would also need to be brought up.. If naming names would cause this thread to be locked then so would discussing specific examples, thus a debate on this subject is not possible.. That's my opinion anyway..

Moderators are humans.
Humans make mistakes.
Ergo threads are sometimes wrongly closed.

I have to agree to disagree to this thread because i think maybe there are some threads closed when they shouldnt be for whatever reason but i myself have posted a few threads that had to be closed but ye some forum moderaters are to quick to close threads and that leads to stupid threads.

To be honest I think you have a chip on your shoulder with a mod whos name doesn't begin with the following letter...
ABCDEFGHIJ LMNOPQRSTUVWXYZ
But I think that some decisions are too quick and in the interest of the mod who closes it, I think there should be some kind of shake up to stop the big heads who answer everything with...

Ikky, why do you even bother? Nothing that is said in this thread is going to change anything. Besides, per forum rules, threads can be closed for just about any personal reason. I don't even see why this thread is still even open. This forum isn't supposed to be used for site issues.

Who stated that i was trying to change anything, after recent episodes i have given up on C-A, it can wollow away in its bad habbits.
Because it is a site issue has no baring on weather or not it is a debate, thus it belongs here, this was placed for thoe for opposite sides of the table to persuade each other one way or another.
As for the chip on my shoulder, there is none, thoe the event that happend was caused by a mod and the thouhgt behind this thread was sparked by it, this is in no way a chip or a vendetta.
close this thread, w/e its not doing much other then debating the usefullness of this thread.
