Alright. Im trying to install a webcam. I have Windows 2000. When I went to put the software in for the webcam it did this...
So...I went to Windows.com and found that I need to update the drivers. Here is the page I went to....
http://www.microsoft.com/whdc/system...FAQ_intro.mspx
I went to the device manager and all that stuff but... it didn't even show that I had USB ports. I have 4 of them. I see them clear as day.
Anyway I went down to step 4....Where it says if you don't have any drivers .....Blah, Blah....I went to Add New Hardware but..It did not give me any options to "Install the software automatically"...So..Yeah. I'm stuck.
Basically...I can't get my computer to figure out that it has USB ports....
By the way..In case you can't read it...On the little window in the picture...it says...
" Setup is unable to locate a working USB port on this system. This product requires a working USB port to continue Installation. If you need help enabling USB support on your computer, please contact your computer manufacturer."
