CPU + Torrent
using utorrent client... sometimes it uses so much CPU (explorer even lags). can't figure out why? yes, it depends how maning torrents i have in there too

I use burst and have the same lag problem... but I used the original and shadows experimental and they caused even worse lag...I just figured it's a downside of Bittorrent

I use bittornado and have exactly the same problem.. I guess when each torrent can be running 20-50 threads each.. it's never going to be lag free...

I'm the same as Kes. I use BitTornado and have a lag problem. ^_^

well azureus (laggereus).. was impossible to torrent whilst using my PC... so i got utorrent, because it was advertised as 'light torrent client'... and up till now i haven't had lag problems. sometimes it even crashes when i ad a new torrent....
hmm. all my torrents are from the same tracker though... i've tired enbaling and disabling stuff such as DHT network... helps a little bit.. but then you'll find no clients to leech off of. it's not lag constantly, just when i add a new torrent.... doesn't seem to be any sort of thing i can think of in the settings...i've limited my bandwidth too, connections set correctly. just CPU lag...it does reduce over time though... i think it does anyway |
