So I am officially naming July my favorite month of the year. I can't wait for Pirates of the Caribbean 2 to come out, and I just saw that History Channel is doing a special on True Pirates of the Caribbean. I l love it i love it i love it. It'll be cool to learn more about real pirates and then go see the movie.

You know I think Superman will do really well, but I just have confidence that Pirates will draw in the highest box office of the year. But I guess we will have to see...if anything even touches Di Vinci!!

Yeah I loved the first one and it looks like the second one might be even better!! UNHEARD OF! I'm just excited to see how crazy the real life pirates were, there are so many stories, and this is supposed to be a pretty cool special, at least form what I've heard.

Yeah, I'm not sure about the violence part, but I will say that the stories are really interesting. i'm trying to find out the date of the special. The movie is coming out on July 7th and I CANNOT wait, but I wonder whether it will ber before or after the opening. I'll check it out and get back to you.

This movie disgusts me

The first one was alright. But it was a complete kiddy flick, which made me feel the slightest bit disappointed in Johnny Depp. He used to be cool, and do cool movies like Ed Wood, and now he's sold out.

Then he had to go and do that Charlie and the Chocolate Factory movie. It's like he's stopped worrying about doing good movies just to make sure all the little children go to see his movies. Ugh

But, anywho, since people seem to flock to mindless blockbusters, I think this will be the biggest movie of the summer. YOU ALL SICKEN ME!!

i heard theyre changing the ride at disney to the movie version instead of the old one. when i went last month, it was closed for renovation

I have to go on an hour bus journey to see POTC2 dressed as a pirate.
About 20 of us are going.

silly ewok... this may have been one of depp's best roles to date. He is one of the best character actor's of our time and jack sparrow was his shining moment. i loved most of his past works, his name attached to a role usually means brilliance. It's a shame you didn't like this, but I wouldn't put it in the mindless blockbuster section. Maybe you'll give the second one a shot, it is supposed to be even better.

Also, you might want to relax on the "sickening" tip. It's not really that big a deal.
