Okay, I wrote these in the past two minutes, so don't get high hopes for a masterpiece. Although I'm quite liking the "Life" one.


Tanka Poem.

[Reflection]

I see your eyes there
in the mirror you hide me
defeat, falling down.
I, your reflection sleeping
I have gone to find myself.

Haiku Poem.

Raindrops falling softly
the earth is wet with freshness
my words come gently.

[Life]

The sea is crashing, tossing, fighting
I see you thrashing, struggling drowning.
I am talking, yelling, shouting
yet nothing I do helps.
Isn't life like that sometimes?
you want to help down to your core
but failure puts it out of your mind.
Like standing helpless on a shore
watching a human drowning.
Dark thoughts fill your mind
you become depressed.
But it takes someone pure to remind
You couldn't do anything, but you tried your best
You still feel guilty, of course
and that someone made it worse
but find your happiness, seek it's source
Fight sorrow's curse.
And when life fights like a raging sea
look for a friend.
And if your searching fails, look to me
I'll help with life's demands.
