Play Station or Xbox?
When the PS3 comes out, which do you people think will be more popular, popularer in my words?
Let's review, the Play Station in general has been around longer so it holds the medal for number of titles, but the Xbox brought to the table a vast amount of new or upgraded features, online play especially.
The Play Station is where half if not more of the gaming community lies, yes that's right, the RPG-ers, while the Xbox is kicking for the more action-based games like shooters and racing games, but they both have their weaks spots. The Play Station does have many titles yes, but how good are they? Many games released for the consols have been very very bad... And the graphics, some are exponential while most are mediocre at best, the Xbox doesn't have all that many games, not as high a number as the PS consols I mean, but most games have an okay story-line, and the graphics are usually good too.
Okay, now let's review what is being brought to users,
PS3: Fully backward compatability; Video Connect HDMI Version 1.3 -- HDMI Video Connector; Motion sensitive controller; Blu-Ray discs'; And many more thing. (Rumor has it that you can only play the games you buy on one consol, meaning, once you pop a game into a PS3, the disc won't play on any other PS3... But this is just a rumor,)
360: New and better online play; Downloadable content; Connection with [highspeed] computer; HD-DVD Drive; Semi-backwards compatable (It is, you can only play a select number of Xbox games on the 360, developers say they're working on upgrading systems to make it so it's fully backwards compatable,)
Hmm, couldn't really dig up much dirt on the 360, but eh, we all know what it can do.
So, in this consol war, who's going to win?
I exclided the Wii because everyone knows the big contendors are the 360 and PS3, not that the Wii won't be fun... Bleb..
