Hi all

I noticed it as a normal user but not as a mod .. I will be typing and if am not looking at the screen I will lose the curser and ill type away for ages just to realise its not been working as the curser ( I now know why its called that )

It seems its the dating advert's doing it ...anyway round it ???

Yeah, you can get around it.

If you use firefox, install the "Noscript" extension. https://addons.mozilla.org/firefox/722/

By default, it will block ALL javascript. So if a site doesn't work properly, you can click on the blocker icon at the very bottom right of your browser window, which will then give you a menu of domains to allow javascript from.

For example, you'll need to allow chat-avenue.com to get use of the WYSIWYG editor and smileys. But ********* (and the rest) will still be blocked until you choose to allow it

This isn't an ad-blocking thing as such but it works well as one since a lot of sites seem to use JS to serve ads
