Japan Developers wary of Playstation 3

This kinda makes my point in that the Playstation 3 will be the beginning of Sony's inevitable downfall, more liable to happen.

Lack of developers; means lack of support; which in turn means, lack of games.

And the worst thing is, is that Sony is actually based in Japan.

A survey released in the latest issue of of Japan's Ge-Maga magazine, which IGN purports to be the oldest videogame magazine in Japan, revealed that many Japanese developers are unhappy with the current state of the PS3 for a variety of reasons. A quick summary:

• 90.29% of those surveyed disagreed with the PS3's price point.
• 56.31% disagree with the multiple SKUs.
• 55.82% think the console will not sell with its current announced lineup (what about Riiiiidge Raaaacer?).
• While 48.54% are unfazed, 32.52% of those survey were less confident with the PS3 after its E3 showing.
• 62.13% feel the PS3 won't reach its goal of 6 million units sold by March 2007.

I'm getting more and more pi$$ed of with Sony and the PS3 I feel they're rushing it still. Wouldn't bother me if they delayed it till next year =/ There's still sh!t loads of games i want coming out for the PS2 yet That'll pi$$ too many ppl off though >_>' But i'd rather that, and have them improve it, than keep making all these mistakes and realeasing it. At this rate, on release, it'll be worse than the 360

Only certain genres --Mostly FPS.

But to go back to what we said earlier.

The Playstation 3 is already worse than the 360.

Because:

1) It hasn't even been released yet, and already it's status isn't really that great. The only thing that people are really impressed with, are it's graphical capabilties.
2) It's price.
3) The X-box 360 and Playstation 3, are allegedly roughly equal, in terms of power. What's the point in wasting an extra $100+ on the PS3, when you can get a 360 that's roughly the same in prowess, for less? (If you mention you prefference here, in regards to why you prefer the Playstation 3 -save it for someone who gives a damn; because I mean in "general". For those that aren't bothered by the brand.)
4) Games being developed in Japan for the Playstation 3, are being shifted over to Wii.
5) Developers in Japan - Sony's homeland, aren't even happy with the Playstation 3.

That's just a handful of reasons.

Ever since Sony reveiled the Playstation 3, there has been article, after article, after article... involving dissapointing & negative news [Over the PS3].

The only thing that is keeping people from loosing interest in it, is it's exclusive franchises. But Sony can't rely on 3rd Party Developers, forever.

For once i agree with most of that now But i still like it beter than the others >_>'
And isn't Sony or the PS2/3 or w/e more popular in countries like America? While Nintendo is more liked in Japan?

Console Hardware:
America = Sony | Microsoft > Nintendo
Japan = Sony > Nintendo >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> Microsoft (Lmfao).
Europe = Sony > Microsoft | Nintendo

Portable Hardware:
America = Nintendo > Sony
Japan = Nintendo >>>>>>>>> Sony
Europe = Nintendo | Sony

| = Roughly Equal
> = More than

I'm just giving an approximation.

Sony has more of the console market, than the other two.

But things change, Lol.

Yea, In that diagram thing, i get the feeling Sony and Nintendo will probably change around next year

In case u didn't know, i do hate one thing more than Nintendo, and that's the X-box Just to let u know i do like it better than some things
