When I download MSN Messagner 8.0 Windows Live. It Brings up a oddly message. I do have a screen shot showing the picture.

And ffs. I have Spyware from it now.

kinda hard to read what the error message says...missing some component? where'd you download it from?...that'd be your first clue that you're doing something wrong

Try Un-Installing the Msn after that you re-install the whole thing again

Get The Messenger 1st before getting the upgraded version packs

1.) Installing the Messenger 1st . . the Basic Messenger, The 1st 1st 1st Version

. The Verision packs only upgrades and adds features to the Messnger.

That would cause problems if you don't have the messenger is because it can't find the application.

2.) Run the Upgraded Version Packs.

Try logging on your Internet before trying to download msn.
It won't download the new version if you're not online.

looks like there's a .dll file requirred to run the new MSN that you are missing..

care to give us a clue as to what <filename>.dll might be?

Using an educated guess from zooming in on your screenshot, you're missing winhttp.dll which is required to run the new version.
