Graphic card problems
I have just bought a new Graphics card, nVidia GeForce 7 , 7300GS, 256MB DDR2 PCI Express. im running windows xp home.
and i put the chip into the mother board corectly and everything i read the manual severl times but after putting it in the mother board then starting windows up it detects it on startup, but when the Found new hardwhere wizard comes up and i search for new hardwhere it dosnt find anything, and if i put the drivers cd rom in it dosnt detect it untill i have installed the hardwhere but it dosnt find any. Anyone know how i can fix this? ...

have you looked in device manager, you will probably find its already installed as xp will automatically install hardware whenever it can.

ok i see it in device manager. (Video Controller (VGA Compatable) )
when i double click on it it says under device status, The drivers for this device are not installed. (Code 28)
To reinstall the drivers for this device, click Reinstall Driver.
i clicked reinstall driver but the hardwhare update wizard omes up and searches and says the same thing , ''the hardwhere was not installed because the whizard couldnt find the necessory softwhere''
hmmm now what? lol

did you get a cd with it? did you install the drivers? if not...go to http://www.nvidia.com/object/winxp_2k_91.31.html and download that...and install
