Wow, the amount of times this thread has been made..

Anyway, I agree with it.
Having experienced it, I don't see anything wrong with it and I do believe that you can actually love/have feelings for someone over the net, but the only disadvantage, is that you can't be with them all the time in real life - but despite that, theres always the phone, cam, etc.. until you do actually meet.
And it's only when you do meet, that you'll know for sure if it'll work offline in the future as you'll be seeing alot more features about that person that's almost impossible to see over the net..

So over all, I don't see why you can't have a relationship on the net until you meet up and start making it work offline..

I used to agree with it,hell I even got married to someone I meet from the room,there's a lesson to be learnt for sure, never marry anyone from a chatroom, especially d!ckheads, but putting my own personal experiences aside. In can work if both people genuinely respect,care,trust and love each other enough not too play mind games or cheat, and as well if both people are whole to begin with then it shouldn't be a problem. It's when one person in the realtionship (usually but not always,the woman) starts to feel like they have to kiss the other person's feet,then it becomes a problem. And oh yes, never stop thinking in a realtionship, thats what got me in trouble I stopped thinking and analyizing because I was just so glad to have found someone, and look he walked right over meh, but before this post goes even more random.

Final Verdict: Net Realtionships, doesn't work.
Friendships, can work.

I have tryed it once.. but like,you can never know for sure if they are being faithful.. like i dated someone on here but she was a wh0r3 and cheated on me

I think internet relationships can definately work, just as much as offline relationships can work. It just depends on the two people involved.

There are many people online that wouldn't know how to be honest if their life depended on it and it's not alwayz easy to see through that. But those people do no only exist online. I am with someone internet dating but to me it's just as normal a relationship as any other. We are freakin' alot of miles apart and timezones can be a real pain, but she's part of my everyday life. If i've had a bad day or anything.. I can just get on and talk to her and let it all out, I can't get a hug, but she's alwayz there for me in all other ways..

Would I rather have a relationship with someone living around the corner, someone I could touch every day? It would be alot easier, true, but that's not how love works. You can't choose who you fall in love with and if thay person happens to love on the other side of the world, then so be it I wouldn't want to trade myself for anybody, no matter where they're from.
