Pledge for me?
Hey everyone.
For all those that don't know, I'm Ruth.
This year I'm participating in a walk-a-thon called Relay For Life put on by the ACS. To collect pledges you have to be part of a team, so this year I joined the Curves Gym. Since I don't actually go to that gym, I registered to be part of the team online. This year the RFL added something new where when you register online, you automatically get a website where others can pledge a certain amount of money they want to donate on your behalf. The website doesn't allow pledging per lap or mile, because that would be too complicated, but you can donate a flat rate. My website it looking a little bit empty because no one is up to donating a flat rate online, but I was thinking that maybe some of my friends on here would be up for it. It's super easy and pretty fast.
My site is http://www.acsevents.org/relay/ca/pacifica/ruuthm [Edited from last year so people don't go to the wrong page.]
Any donation you want to make would be greatly appreciated. It's for a great cause, and you would make my personal honor roll.
The walk is on Saturday, July 22 to Sunday, July 23, so I won't be online those days either.
Any mods can close this thread if they think it's spam, but I would love it if you didn't. And please don't remove the link, it would make it pretty pointless.
Much love and take care.
And PS-- The chick at the bottom of the page is not me.

But i'll talk to you on msn.
I don't wanna donate online.
Annnd... I was too lazy to wait for
Acrobat reader to open the other page.
One more thing... Is Beverley related?
Oh.. and off topic.
I'm watching The Rocky Horror Picture Show.

She is indeed. I didn't know about it until my mom called me up. She had breast cancer when I was little. And maybe she goes to Curves, I don't know.
I like how we're the Cowgirls of HMB this year. Because we aren't hick enough as is.

Almost a year later
Holy ****.
Well, it's that time again!
I was going to make another thread, though no one really bothered to help last time.
I might as well use this one though.
Don't use teh old URL, I have to re-register and everything.
I'm starting early this year, so maybe some of you will be convinced to actually help out.
For all you Americans, I'm kind of raising money for you, so you might as well pitch in.
This year's url:
https://www.kintera.org/faf/donorReg...upid=171534471
And wtf at my Goal. Must have missed a zero.

I'd love to hear you say that when you're 80 and about ready to croak.
