This is a poem I wrote ages ago back in 2005, I didn't know what to call it then, but I think this title is the appropriate one for it. When the sea and the sky were just mirror reflections of themselves and the land was dark and bare, out of the clear blue where the light and warmth had dwelled, the sound of electricity and wind howled forth the breathe of life... The soil loosened and the rain fell, the weather changed so rapidly---humid, tundra, blizzard, sauna, warmth and cool---green, yellow, blue and red, colors burst forth---from the lifeless dead clay molded man... In sorrow and in pain he plunged his own fist into his chest, wrenching his heart soul and mind, screaming to the Heavens, "MAY I PLEASE NOT DIE ALONE?!" Out of man came something new, something wonderful, it was the one, the feeling so deep inside that soothed him to sleep when he shuddered in the dark shadows---it was something pure, something he was afraid to be, kind and warm and humble and so full of grace... It was woman. He said to her, in her beauty and nakedness, "Blood of my blood, flesh of my flesh, heart of my beating heart, I love you without knowing how or from where and when," and ever since then, that's the way it has always been. I look at you my love, and I too, don’t know why---but I truly adore you. Someday when we kiss, my lips pressed against yours will be ours. My hand in your hand will be our hand. Your chest against mine and our hearts beating together will be as if one beating heart. As that first man and woman long ago came apart---we will surely come together. As I will enter into you, and you holding me so tight---we will be as one being trying so hard to be together even more so---and from out of you and me, bits and pieces of ourselves; your smile, my eyes, your beauty, my strength; a child. But even then I know we will continue to try, to be as one mind, soul and body---still going back to our roots, when there was just a man and a woman in his heart. The origin of love... |

I think I may have seen that before, like in a book or newspaper or something.
Did you get it published? Or....?
