A few things, people that dont have arcade challenge's enabled shoudnt be allowed to play and everyone should play the same game in the round (rd1 bomberjack rd2 minigolf rd3 ect..) just to be fair. I dont care if you dont like the last suggestion I just want my first one enforced.

Ok good suggestions..
Now prolly the biggest debate of them all do we want Leauge or knockout or league then knockout??
edit: also would be cool if anybody who has photoshop did a diagram or w/e to make it look fancy when this starts

Maybe you could put a premium membership up as the prize?.. Either by putting the money up yourself or seeing if the CM is up for sponsoring it.. I don't imagine you would have any trouble getting 16 people signed up, but with the extra incentive, who knows.. I think when there was one of the checkers tounament i think Kataklysm used some brackets site.. I didn't look at what it can really be used for but maybe it can set out a tournament pretty much no matter how many entrants you start off with.. I don't remember the URL so you could just PM and ask him..

A Premium Membership would be a great thing. I'm sure that'd attract many people. I just wish Cm would reply, with his opinions and maybe if he'd sponser a prize or something.
Hopefully people will join this one, and they will actually play, and enable arcade challenges before hand.

Oh, wow.
I start a tournament and I get very few replys.
But when a mod starts a topic about it, everyone decides to post.
Chri$ was right, only when mods start things they get all the replies then need.

ffs it can take anyone with good organization skills to hold a tournament, not just a mod "ANYBODY", your last tournament had no organization and it ****ed up half way because you didn't understand how to hold an odd player round, you forgot that people without the challenge to arcade option would cause major delay's, and as this is still a fairly new concept, you forgot to ask for people's opinions/idea's on how a tournament can work for everybody, if it has already been discussed you could bring the topic back up again and ask the newbie's to aracde for further suggestions. This thread is only for suggestion's and idea's which shows the person holding the tournament IS TRYING TO DEVELOP SOME ORGANIZATION! NOBODY CAN EVEN JOIN YET SO IT MIGHT BE A FLOP JUST LIKE YOUR TOURNAMENT! (I highly doubt it if the premium membership idea goes through) also to add, not everyone has posted yet only 5 people have come foward with idea's and support, but maybe with some new idea's and a few lesson's acknowleged from your tournament, this can be cemented in for the future as an annual successful event because this place needs them, maybe it might go half yearly or quarterly (maybe.....)
Back on topic craig said something about a website that show's brackets for people that get confused about all the numbers, http://www.casesladder.com is one website for a league or knockout style which is used on yahoo games a lot and some other websites, but someone might have to experiment first before it gets used. Also maybe a seperate website might be better (if anyone can set one up?) so games and pairings are easily tracked?
