Wrapped in your disguise, you worked to my demise
The extent of your lies took me by surprise
Starry eyed, I cried, asking a million whys
Droplets of tears seeping through my fallen pride
I’m unable to hide. I need to decide
What should I do when my feelings coincide
With such hatred more deadly than cyanide
My joy ride ended. My feelings transcended
In this nightmare, voices were apprehended
And now my wounds are too deep to be mended
Time after time, you pretended - to help me
Unleash my dream - but nothing is what it seems
You lied to the best of your ability
Hoping to convert me, but you failed miserably
Again and again. It’s time now for you to see
I am not a shallow freak. So remember me
As the person who destroyed your entirety
