Sports,are you tough enough?
Sports are really becoming less and less popular in the lifes of american teens. Not that they dont like them, but they never play them.Honestly, why go and play football(not soccer) outside in the heat when you can sit in an air-conditioned home and play it on your new Xbox 360. Games and game systems along with miles of fast food restaurants can definately be blamed for the growing ratio of obese teens in america. But can it all be put on games?People do have a choice as to if they would rather spend their day infront of a television screen or outside in the sun.Just as they have the choice to eat at McDonalds or Subway. In my opinion they can be blamed, not that they brainwashed anyone, but they pressured them.A good example would be as simple as walking into a general store or turning on your television.Posters and advertisements show happy, young, and attractive teens laughing and jumping around as they play their new games and commercials do everything but call you a loser for not buying some new system.Fast food restaurants can also be blamed. But that has nothing to do with sports.
