From bbc.co.uk/news based on an interview of over 20,000 residents from all parts of Europe asked for a single phrase to describe their perception of an 'Average American':

Quote: A report by the BBC across Europe revealed that more than two thirds of 23,000 Europeans interviewed view Americans as culturally and socially inept and out of touch with the rest of the civilized world.
Amongst the most damning quotes describing the average American was "no more than a red-neck hick with poorly founded ideals". However, as pointed as this may seem, most of the other opinions aired were of a similar opinion and description.
59% of those interviewed would be happy to ban any American tourists from visiting their country and imposing trade sanctions on political grounds.

Exactly the kind of arrogant statement that is seeing the World turn against America.

America entered the World Wars not just to help the "little Europeans" but to help themselves. Their ships were getting blown up in the Atlantic and they were losing lives while not in a state of war so why not enter the war?

The most compelling reason for American entry into the theatre of war on both occasions was homeland security. Had America not entered the 14-18 war then would they have held such a strong bargaining tool over Bolshevik Russia who were negotiating a ceasefire with the Germans and so would have been the second strongest nation in the World behind them. Do you think Russia would have left America alone in that situation? No, neither do I. They entered the war and helped persuade Russia to finish the war on the side of the Allies. They came out of the war better than they entered the war and that meant there was no danger of Russia launching an offensive on them on homesoil.

The 39-45 war was one that America was desperate to avoid entering and had Pearl Harbor not happened then it is doubtful you would have entered it. You could have stayed in the Pacific Arena and avoided any major losses but you came to Europe as well, not because you wanted to help the Europeans but to protect your backs again. What if while the whole of your navy was fighting the Japanese in the Pacific, ****** won in Europe? He would not ha ve hesitated in sending his own nacvy and the captured British and French vessels over to attack America and how would America have faired fighting on two fronts, in fact make that three points because if ****** won in Europe then Canada who were already fighting under their Head of State would have fallen soon afterwards. Could America have come out of that alive? I don't think so. That is why I am getting fed up with hearing time and time again that America saved us in the wars, no you saved yourselves in the wars if you planned on saving us you would have joined in 14 and 39.

And with what weapons did your ancestors defeat the Natives? Did you make them yourself or were most of them made in Europe? Be it Britain or Spain most of the arms that gave you independance and then helped you slaughter Native Americans were European so I think we helped your ancestors before you helped ours.
