DEATH of a loved one? post your thoughts
I lost a friend ,a best friend ,my only friend
i lost a part of me, a piece of me, a piece j
i lost the will to love, to care , to cherish
i lost the need to smile, to laugh ,to have fun
i lost the want to stay, be strong .to survive
i lost the will to live , exsist , breathe
i lost the image , the sound , i lost
i lost the memory, the laugh , his smile
i lost the one thing i knew was true
but i didnt know untill u were gone that
there was nothing i could do
i lost a friend i loved

Wow, it really moved me. I can read where you were in deep and when you pulled back so that you could finish your thoughts. I probably shouldn't have written this here but, I really liked this one.

Nearly 2 months ago i lost you,
Nearly 2months ,but im still blue
With you ,you took a piece from within
Below the surface beneath my skin
I guess im stronger now its been a while
I feel your warmth i feel your smile
I went to your wake and sat alone
I sat for a while and had a long walk home
Everybody had someone to cry too
But all i had were thoughts of you
I looked at the photo laid out to see
But i looked in my mind and u were sat next to me
I wasn't alone as i thought i was
I guess it isn't such a loss
Now i dont see you & we are apart
The loss isn't there though, your here.. in my heart
I sit and smile when i think of you
Laughing seeing the silly things i do
I know you see me i know your there
I hope i make you proud of the love i share
You have given me strength deep inside
I feel that don't have to hide
I hope u were sat next to me
As usual my pain u used to see
I didn' have a person to hold
My whole body went hot & cold
You decided to go away
I wish you hadn't everyday
It makes it easier when i think of where you are
I gaze to the sky at night to see a star
That star is you and its there right now
I cant explain why or how
I know its you when i look above
And now i sleep and hold your love.

Unbelieveable. I know that it may not have kept to the rhyme scheme but, dang it didn't need to. Awesome hon, really.
