The term "***"
I have a question for the general public... I have grown up with gay people. I have many gay and transgender friends. I know that it is not a choice but actually just the way things are. My question is... because I have been around gay people so much I havecome to use the word f*g as an endearing term towards people. But my boyfriend uses it negatively and when I ask him to stop he gets mad at me and says I'm a hypocrit because I use it. But its not the same. Is he right? Should I just not use it? Or is there a difference because I use it in a non aggressive or negative way, with affection?

Reason: need to know the word, but understand the point of the censor

o_o; It really depends on how you use the word on a sentence.
and for a girl saying sex all the time, it seems kinda whorish don't you think?

That's like the N word. It was originally used in a bad negative way but then the people that were being called the N word used it in a positive way among themselves. Same with the F word. I don't like it....just as I don't like the N word. I use neither.
I think people shouldn't use them at all...but they will. Just ignore it when your bf does. He seems to get irretated.

To put it easily, I am opposed to homophobia (which really isn't a fear but an irrational hatred), racism, fascism, and all other degrading groups.
