I love my bf to bits and il do anything for him. he wants to join the police force real bad i mean thats all he can talk about lol. the thing is, he's been having theese really bad back pains and been having abit of breathing problems and im really worried about them. Ive told him how i feel (worried, curious, sad) and i asked him to go and see a doctor about them or someone that can help him. He refused and told me that if he went to see someone about them he'l fail the medical test (what ever you want to call it) to get in the force. i cant believe that he's risking his health just to join the police. im soooooo worried about him and i dont no what to do! any advice?

This sounds more suited to the advice or health forum rather than the Dating but I will ty and help.

Tell your boyfriend that he will fail the medical if he doesn't go to the doctor because the medical is a physical inspection of his fitness and his body so if there's anything wrong that a doctor will pick up then so will the ME. Also tell him that the only way he will pass the medical is that he sees a doctor and the doctor helps him, it's possible that all he needs is a bit of medication and a rest, if it's something more serious the medical would pick it up anyways but it would be better if he gets it checked out early.

Basically the only way he can pass the medical is by seeing the doctor, but on't tell him that he will pass if he sees the doctor because that ain't guaranteed and if the doctor can't help him or diagnoses something that will keep him out of the police force then he may well blame you.

Hi Jane, if your boyfriend is having health probs he will definately not be accepted by the force. I think its wonderful that you care for him so much!

Don't worry he won't risk his health if he's as bad as you say. The police force will just reject him.
