well there is rumours all about that soon roy keane will be starting his managerial career and cutting his teeth on sunderland...
firstly do ya think he'l b any good?
do ya think that the way he isolated himself as a player from his teammates will help him in his managerial position?
d'ya think after saipan he and niall quinn can get along?
and finally
the match against wolves with mick mc carthy wil b a brill one this yr if it goes ahead!

I actually think its a mistake Roy was a great player no doubting that but am not to sure about his ppl skills yes he can motivate but can you see a player approaching him if they had a problem ??
I think he would make a great assistant manager and maybe learn the tricks of the trade but to be thrown in the deepend ..that would be hard.
I think Sunderland should look at giving Nigel Clough a crack at the whip good young manager or maybe John Aldridge again expierienced and a would be a good manager for Roy to learn from thay have the irish connection so who knows it might work.

Don't know what to make of it really. I'm sure he'll get the respect of the players, but what he needs is an older head. Whether Keane would take advice from someone else is another matter though. What would be good is if he came to them as Player-Manager, just a shame his knee's just about had it.

Probably more of a patriotic thing, with him being Irish and all that.
