Red face Quick question?

Is it true that peroxcide will dye your hair blonde? If so, how good is it for your hair/skulp?

Peroxide actually strips the hair of colour, and for this reason excess use is not good.

If you want to dye your hair blonde.
Best bet is to get a colour stripper like menioned, the peroxide and then use a dye ontop of it.
I should know, I've changed my hair colour so many times, at least 7 times. : )

Peroxide isnt good for your hair.. as most have said already..
I think it turns your hair red not blonde
Theres a product called "SUN-IN"
you should be able to find it at the local drug store (rite-aid, brooks etc)
A friend of mine used lemon and it lightened her hair a little.
But if you want your hair blonde you should see your stylist/barber w/e you use.

Pretty much everything said so far here is right. But anything you use to lighten your hair is going to strip it.

The Sun-In is a great idea if you've never tried highlighting your hair before. The chemicals react to sunlight, and you won't have to worry about that "orangy" color if you're hair is too dark.

I'd start with that first and see how things go.

I had to use it to strip the black outta my hair so go to a pharmacy or whatever you have and ask for volme 20 and if they have higher get that maybe 40 and that should work and it might send it an orangey colour then dye it blonde and put in a toner
