I have been useing the gay chat for a good while now and the other day some one asked me if i would ever meet any one from gay chat i assumed he meant for the perpouses of s*x and i said that yes if i really liked some one from there i probebly would and he called me a sl;ag and a few other name's and it got me thinking.

How many people who use chat avenue's gay chat or the forum are actually gay /bi lol i really dont think that many of them are really gay or bi i think they come in to the chat or the gay forum's just because they are board and have nothing else to do.

What do you think ?

I mean i personally feel that the gay chatroom is a good tool to meet other gay lad's and have a bit of fun if i got to no some one resonably well from the chatroom i would deffinately meet them in real life.

So what do you think about this would you ever use the gay chatroom as a tool to meet men for s*x among other thing's. ?

How many gay member's in chat avenue that use forum's or the chatroom do you think they are what they say they are. ?

Since I have been modding in that room I have noticed many of the non regulars will post to be gay but then suddenly are bi when they know I'm a straight female. I think many of them(non regulars) are there just for some cyber and post whatever is needed on se.xuality to get it. Just my opinion on the thread.

I'm not "gay" but I have used that room a couple of times. Not that I would trust everyone in that room who knows who they could be, a 40 year old man for all we know. But there are users who use the room alot.. even find a bf/gf if they're lucky.. but yeah I dunno if i'd wanna meet up with anyone from there unless I had known them for awhile and felt I trust them enuff to meet offline. Alot of the users though in there go in there to either meet or just talk and go on cam, cyber whatever. No clue how many "gay" people use forums.. but I'm sure theres some here and there, and well the chat room lmao yeah well you've been in there you'll see how many of them say they're gay/bi/lez. The forums well the Gay, Lesbian, and Bisexual forums theres some good threads they aren't used like the chat room though to find someone to cyber or meet or go on cam.. this forums is used to talk about things like how people feel about being gay/bi/lez.. and well yeah look at some of the threads and you'll know exactly..

Many of the users I've seen are straight but just curious.
As for me, no, I'd never meet anyone from the room for sex, or a one night stand sort of thing. For one, they could be someone they are not, in most cases, pedos. But not everyone is; a lot of genuine users in the room. Only one person I'd meet, and that's happening soon.
That said, if people openly admit to just wanting to meet men for casual sex, then I'd see why they'd get called a slag.
It's different though if you've been speaking to a person for a long while, and taken time to get to know them, rather than arranging a time or place to get screwed.

I would never go to any of the rooms just to find someone to meet for s3x. You need to know people alot longer on a pc before even meeting them.Not just meet and arrange a time for s3x. You really have no idea who is on the other end.

I think that the mojority of registerd member's in forum's that claim they are gay or biexual are lieing.

I think they lie about it because they are addicted to the site believe it or not so they would claim to be any thing if it got them to populer with other member's.

Don't forget those gays who've never ever had a relationship with someone of the same s.ex, yet run around forums shouting they're 100% gay..

As the thread says apart from the odd few, who actually don't feel this burning need to draw attention to their homosexuality, the rest are just Internet Gays.

When it comes to meeting people from the room for s.ex or just as friends, it's always the ones having one virtual relationship after another who would never meet anyone. That may be because they lie about their looks, age, sexual orientation.........hell even they size of their bank balance.

Oh and this topic was done not so long ago, and it was closed because certain people didn't like the feedback it got, so don't hold out too much hope for this one.

Um ...i'd never meet someone off the internet...first off,Cus i don't trust anyone. =]
But i'm going to meet Chrissy...Thats different i trust her...erm.

I think people don't really intend to meet anyone.. ( some might) but most are looking for cyber or phone ***...

I would never consider meeting a guy online for s3x. If I do meet anyone, it is to meet them to talk, and make friends. These guys that go into gay chat wanting to meet for s3x are insane...have they any idea of how dangerous that is? Even giving out a phone # is dangerous. When I was Admin, I saw a guy post his phone #. Being the concerned person I am I called the # and delivered a lecture on the importance of Internet safety.
