A little something to think about

I want to leave you all with something to think about, a lesson to be learned here i guess you could say.. I hear you all so often say.. "It`s just the net, you cant hurt ppl".. Well think again ok.. So often online we meet ppl, spend time talking, building up friendships etc, and alot go on to meet up in real life and friendships grow.. This may be the internet ppl, but behind each computer is a person, with feelings, with a life, with stories, with hurt and pain and they can be hurt.. And when you do meet ppl who you bond with, who you care deeply about, you hold onto that and treat them as you want to be treated, show them you care and they are worth your friendship, dont think its just the net, because it isnt.. Dont make the same mistakes i have and forget to treat ppl with respect, especially the ones you care about and the ones we love... Yes i am ashamed of myself for forgeting this, i hurt someone greatly and torn both our lives apart.. So please, do think about them who you care about, It is not just the internet, but real people with real feelings.. And i am very sorry for forgeting this... My parting words i give to you guys, i hope you remember them and always hold onto the ones who you call friends and the ones you love...

hun friendships are formed on here and it takes 2 people to work at them not 1.. and if people are true friends then a little slip up once in awhile is nothing and you get passed it..

remember this NO MAN IS WORTH YOUR TEARS AND THE ONE WHO IS WOULD NEVER MAKE YOU CRY

More appropriate words have never been expressed in this forum (to my knowledge), but please don't assume that it is only the women that get hurt by simple "text". I, for one, have tried to always remember the people I have met and friends I have made in this little corner of the internet. Sometimes, I have forgotten that (I am a male after all), but then, so have people I have considered friends. When all is said and done, all I can do is be me and ( as hard as it is to believe) I am not perfect. lol. I guess what I am trying (badly) to say is that I appreciate EVERY person that took a chance to say hi to OzGuy and that although it doesn't always seem like it, you will forever be in my heart.
Now, it sounds like you are leaving us Jossey. If that's the case, please know that you have made a friend in me and if I don't get the chance to chat with you again, PLEASE, stay safe, be well and take care. We'll miss ya, Neighbour.

Thankfully I always find it sooooo easy to forget majority of those I've met on the net, particularly those who seem to have some kind of mental imbalance, and feel the need to trawl forums posting under various accounts. What's even more amusing is when they make threads, then pop back and post in their second account purely to support said thread.

So think about this any user who uses this site for a little light relief, gossip, meet various people from other parts of the world. That person in pc could be "me, myself and I" aka Schizoid.

Very interesting that you would say that....I have hurt some people...but I have also been hurt on here. Sometimes it isn't good to get to know people on a personal level on here. Sometimes the people that you think that you're getting to know are actually the exact opposite of what they seem to be...You need to be careful. So keep in mind that Not everyone are what they seem to be. Take care...and what you did say is very touching.
