Please help I need to simplify this:

(a - b) - (a + b) - (-a - b)


I'm really good at math but this thing has me stumped

We are just reviewing some random problems and this came up
I remember seeing it before but I totally can't remember
The problem just says to simplify it.

im not sure but it might be -a^3-b then i think it converts to -a^3+b i am not 100% positive

Once you distribute it comes out to:


a - b - a - b + a + b


Collect like terms:

a - a + a = a

-b - b + b = -b


So:


a - b is your answer
