It's the nature of mankind to be destructive and self-destructive.....it's the nature of the beast.

The way I see it.. the world is hell. We're put on this earth to see if we can survive.
We got all kinds of shit going on in the world.. it seems to get worse every day. I was having this conversation with my friend about how the world is today. Back in the day, my parents never had to worry about the doors and windows being locked. Everyone looked out for each other. (And no, I didn't live in a small town)
Now a days, its basically every household for itself. There are some great, honest people out there, but even that isn't really shown any where. You turn on the news.. and its all about death etc. Rarely do you see anything positive happening.

Great response Sexy B. You use to could leave your windows and doors unlocked. Kids could go trick and treating without being fed poison or being kidnapped. I have some theories one is the break up of the nuclear family, another is the perversion of religion which now is just preachers asking for money so they can build a bigger ***** house or muslims getting money so they can blow stuff up. Humankind seems to have lose a respect for life and other people. A lot of people are me first and screw you all later. Teachers cant spank students, lots of things have brought us to where we are now.
I am a bit radical but I blame money and the pursuit of it.

Thanks Trenchie.
I'm scared to death for my nephew. Don't get me wrong, he has a loving mom and dad.. but geez.. that kid goes running around outside with supervision. He's only eight.
And I agree with you that humankind has lost repsect for everything. This world is going to go hell in a handbasket. Maybe we can make changes now. But I don't really think thats going to change anything.
We have pedophiles working at schools, we have people randomly shooting animals and people just for the hell of it, and we have all kinds of other bullcrap.
The only time any "countries" really come together is when something drastic happens. And by then, its already "too little too late."

Life can be extremely wonderful. Life can also be very traumatic and painful. Life is making the best out of a bad situation.

Very true, I don't disagree. Everyone is delt a hand. Unfortunately some have had the worse hands delt than someone else and sometimes situations can't be turned into a good one.. other than maybe justice. But even that's too little too late.

I pretty much agree with Old Man and Mauler.
People are no longer keeping their marital commitments. They divorce and end up spoiling their kids in an effort to win them over. Then the kid grows up with little sense of discipline or accountability for their actions.
Then you have the people in power. Everyone wants money, but these people are rich and doing whatever they can to get richer ... including steal pensions from honest hard-working people, and promoting s3x and violence at every turn, often to the youngest demographic.
S3x without love is encouraged. And while society is being desensitized to violence through films, music, video games and other media, these guys are lining their pockets.
