Have you ever gotten beat up for being gay?
Has anyone ever gotten beat up for being gay? When my dad found magazines of gay men in my room he hit me. He calls me a sissy and says that I am a shame. LOL.

I've never been beaten for being gay.
Then again, I've never been in a fight.
If you count a fight as, fighting over the pink cereal bowl when I was 5, then ok.
I don't get ridiculed either; not a lot of people know.
And I couldn't care if they did; fuck all to do with them, anyways.
LOL, chose the second one; not sure I'm loved though.

Nope, im pretty much loved by everyone. Even some of the idiots which would reject gay people are bi or mess with each other.. so nobody is actually against gays in my school. Its cool

I got beatin up once by 2 guys >.< But lets just say they'll saty away from me and everyone else that knows me... My older sis and my brothers and there freinds kicked there asses I feel so loved...

^^^ That is truly what the shame is. The shame is about your father. You PMed me a lot about this. You probably should seek advice from a professional. I am not qualified to really help you with your problems. I can't even relate as my father has never once hit me for anything. When I discussed my "situation" with him, he was extremely unhappy, but it wasn't anywhere near as bad as I imagined it would be. He didn't yell or insult me either. He accepts it.

When i was at high school i got shouted "gay" at a few times, but i realised quite a lot of people get that around here so i'm not sure whether to be scared or not

The choices in the poll are a bit vague. Anyways, yes, I have. I have been the victim of gay bashing. Several years ago I was coming out of a gay nightclub with a friend and was viciously attacked. We both wound up at Temple University Hospital. We were both OK, but it was a horrible experience.
