Do you feel explicit names used in singles chat should be allowed or not????

i think you are right drew names like that should be banned from all the rooms its just not on all the chat rooms should stop it all and ask for them to change there names and if they dont then should be banned

I don't think there is a need for explicit names, altho, we do have to remember that singles is an adult chat room. There will always be someone, somewhere, offended by a name in the room, common sense needs to play a huge part in this issue.

I say no and am glad that this is in singles forums. Yes there is some debate on what names are explicit but truly... this room is not only adults and there are ppl under 18 in here. I would like it to be seen as a chat again and not a quick cyber hook-up place that I know a majority of ppl look at it to be. Even if that is what they are coming in there to find-ffs the imagination used in these names does not stem above the waste. In saying that any name that involves the word *** or a sexual act (weather on computer or literal) I think should be against the rules.

But until there's some kind of name filter on the screen name section, you're kind of stuck with it.

Even then, people will come up with craftier ways to get in with screen names that say cock or whatev'.

I think you will find that is what stranger is trying to do have it stoped in the rooms and have done with it the room is 16+ and if i had kids of 16 i would not like them seeing that sourt of think in the room and i was a mod in the room and i din't like to see it and there was names in there that i din't like i asked for them to change it and if they din't then i booted them and if come back there to be banned and that's that some ppl just don't know how to make nice clean names in the rooms, and i think its sick that some ppl can get away with it in some rooms its just not nice to see in the rooms .

I understand everyone saying the names shouldnt be allowed, however, condsidering the room is 16+ it IS considered an 'adult' chat room... i dont personally consider a 16 yr old as being an adult, but they arent 'children' either, and im sure the names they see in chat, are'nt anything new to them.
A balance needs to be found...

as long as it doesn't involve the usual things that are banned

also...why was a mood booting and banning ppl before for bad names when those names weren't banned??? ... seems a lil unfair on ppl
