Default The Chat-Avenue Debate

This will be the official debate about Chat-Avenue forums itself.
  • Issues here that could be discussed and debated reasonably are,
  • What has this forum become?
  • What new members does it attract?
  • Do you feel mods are biased in anyway?
  • The GLB population of the forum - is it a growing and powerful force, and do they take away free speach?
  • Free speach itself on this forum
  • Your opinion about Chat-Avenue in general

  • I wouldn't go into anything such as the security of the board - as that is too techical and the debate should welcome anyone who has a pair of eyes, and a brain, who frequents the forum, to state their opinion.
  • Do not single out certain members, and try to refrain from mentioning certain names

To get started, I'd like to say that I feel the main attraction to these forums since it'd been advertised somehow, is the gay, lesbian, and bisexual coummunity it offers.

In the "sexuality" thread that was posted here, I was amazed to see at how many people were non-hetrosexual. It seems C-A forums, in my opinion, is turning into an online gay bar - of which even the Straight people (aka Straight gay chat/forum mods) - want to be a part of.

There are 'coming outs' there is propaganda (flaunting same sex relationships), acts, behaviour (of which I don't mean to stereotype, but you know what I mean when I say gay behavior), too many rainbow flags and 'gay pride' related things in signatures, etc. And these are just not GLB forum related, they are all over the forum - and it feels like this group of people - who are supposedly a minority in society, on C-A are infact a vast majority. If not that, a group that is very supported and provided for.

I hate Jews and I don't complain about them.

True homosexuality is getting out of hand but people are stubborn when it comes to these kinds of conflicts.

C-A is home to straight people to.

But I kinda' feel that the gays are too powerful in this site.

nothing against them ofcourse.

Were you meaning to imply something about complainment? As I don't see what Jews has to do with a general discussional debate about Chat-Avenue?

Anyway - homosexual has been 'out of hand' ever since it's been a widely known thing within society - hence the reason most teens convert to it, (or bisexuality), is because the whole idealogy of it is "out of hand."

C-A isn't home to Straight people. If by Straight people you meant the guys and girls in chat asking for cam-on-cam exploitment, then I would tell you these people are a warped group of chatters, who occassionally come into the forums look for what they so crave, and do in no way represent the Straight community of this forum.

Anyone that is Straight - supports gays fully and extently, and even moderates the rooms anyway.

What I find completely strange is gay behaviour. I mean, even over a forum, where everything is text-based you can tell who is gay and who is not gay. This is probably because those who are infact gay - go out of their way to make it known that they are gay/bi/lesbian. Otherwise - why would we know a completely personally thing such as one's sexual prefence, to be a very large percentage of this forum?

I think the main attraction that any chat site holds for the regular user is the fact that it allows social "outcasts" to mingle with others like themselves, without having to worry about whether or not they "fit in" because of their race, looks, sexual orientation, how much money they have, etc.

For one reason or another, many people on this site simply are not comfortable/compatible with the rest of society.

Keep in mind, I'm speaking specifically about the "regular user" here, not those who occasionally log on out of boredom.

Thus, it's no surprise that there any a lot of gay/bi members here, since many people in the real world refuse to accept them.

Personally, I'm surprised by the number of young people who are here on a regular basis. But I guess a lot of kids aren't as physically active these days.

Sadly, I think some of the "adults" here (including mods/admins) set a horrible example. A lot of them seem like they could care less about how many kids are here, and proceed to degrade others and post offensive pics.

That's true.

but what can you do about it?

I tried discriminating them but they retaliate ten fold.

being a homophobe myself, the gays stay on the defensive side and their personal beliefs

They're hard headed and stubborn

So better leave them alone

Ask anyone, I went against MooGoo, Luka, The Voice, etc . . countless fag drags.

but they keep winning, so better accept the fact that they are here to stay.

Gay people want to be discriminated agaisnt. It's part of their way of life. They parade and flaunt their sexuality so people WILL discriminate. It makes them feel outcasts and different.

I edited my last post because I added last minute details.

Gays have wierd taste and what turns them on is very queer.

They're a book in a diffrent language. Confusing.

I agree completely.

Correct. It's not just the fact of being attracted to the same sex, which is a disease - it's the whole life style, behaviour and everything else that goes with it.

Just look at the majorly gay people here. These people should get a sex change or something.

I really don't want to go on with this.

It's judging other people.

But since we're on the topic . .

They make their lives harder for them, I mean how the hell can they have sex?

Their fruity fashion is really wierd, CROSS-DRESSING PEOPLE SHOULD DIE!

I mean why can't they accept girls for their lovers?

Somethings really wrong with todays society.

Next thing they'll think up is marrying animals or tree humping.

Nothing Against them ofcourse.
