Skin Care.
I was wondering what people do to keep their skin clear and healthy.
With all the skin care products floating around the stores, popping up on our TVs and appearing in our magazines - all telling us that they're the best product for you, it can be a difficult choice of what is best for our skin.
Maybe you have yourown methods or something a family member or friend told you?
Post your routine for skin care, what products you use, how often etc.
I have quite dry skin and i'm glad to say that I've never had a huge problem with blemishes but I recently bought Garnier Pure face wash, after washing I use Nivea Soft Intensive Moisturising Cream - so far so good.
Also, I think it's weird how alot of men don't use alot of things due to the fact that the majority of the products seem to be aimed at women. Nothing to say men can't use it too, guys.
What products are all that and which are a load of bull?
Post your review of a product or a review that you have found else where?
Or just share tiny secrets of yourown.

My face moisturizer is St Ives Renewal Cream (with alpha and beta hydroxy...these two things are important)...i specifically use it under my eyes
It burns a bit at first, but I always wash my face at night with St Ives Clear Pore cleanser and then I apply the renewal cream.
I use Johnsons soothing naturals nourishing lotion for super dry spots....mostly for my hands. It's good because it has cottonseed oil and it keeps your skin moist for up to 24 hours.
If you have dry skin, I recommend rubbing olive oil into your skin...I probably wouldnt suggest using it on the face though because that sounds kind of gross.
And I use Johnsons baby lotion for the rest of my body because A. it smells SUPER good and B. it's gentle and easy on the skin and it has aloe vera and vitamin A....this stuff is by far MY FAVORITE....I LOVE LOVE LOVE IT....it smells soo good

I have a HUGE problem with blemishes and oily skin. I take amoxicillin and ben***l peroxide to keep my acne down, but after 8 months of it worknig, i can tell the effects are starting to wear off. I am going to try to get that acne-scar treatment stuff they have. And btw, TruePore-Fection skin-oil reducer by avon is horrible. Just get the oil remover pads or use a tissue to wipe the oil off every hour and half or so.
All of you w/naturally good skin, I envy you.

im 55 and since i was 18 ive taken care of my skin
i use an exfolient 3 to 4 times a week i cleanse tone and moisturise
the ingrediants are what count so dont think you need to spend a lot of money you dont.
never use soap on your face or alcohol based products they dry your skin too much.if you need soap use honey n glycerin soap, honey is a natural humectant (takes moisture from the air)

For a face cleaner I reccommend Cetaphil to everyone, people with all skin types. It is very gentle on your skin, and is fragrance and oil free. After using cetaphil, moisturize your face with the cetaphil lotion or Olay moisturizing lotion for sensitive skin. That is also frangrance and oil free, because everyone has sensitive skin, believe it or not.

My skin care
I use a Green Tea Facial Cleanser, Cucumber Facial Toner (non-alcoholic) and I use a olive oil facial creme. Then 2-3 times a week I use a Jojoba Facial scrub to remove the dead dry skin. All of these products are all natural. So they are great for your skin, there is no harsh chemicals in any of the products like you find in most others. I started using these products about 2 years ago and just love them. I started carrying them in my store because I love them so much. Visit my website at www.********.com/ladyemilyia to see these wonderful products.

If you want really clear skin with immediate results, get an acid peel, microdermabrasion, or a laser skin rejuvenation... it won't be cheap though. =p
