I don't know where abouts you are but The BodyShop is 100% against animal testing and they have this really great coconut body butter. You only need a little and it's great.
If not then maybe try something from Virgin Vie. Although I don't know if they test on animals or not but you could look at the website and find out.
They have this BRILLIANT stuff called Guardian Angel.
Or you could try exfoliating afew times a week. Or even once a day.
Hope it helps.

girls and their worries about skin care sorry had to say it. I'll give you my suggestion Rakka. It's a man's way of solving skin problems and is quick and easy. Take a cheese grader, or sand paper, and rub it on your nose till all that flaky skin falls off...it do wonders and better than any of those waste of money skin care products you girls use, and is a lot cheaper Your nose might be as red as rudolf's nose for a day from all the rubbing, but the dead skin will be gone.
As far as i know sand paper and cheese graders haven't been used on animals either lol.

Maybe try using a facial scrub when you shower to remove the dead skin, and then moisturizing cream afterwards.

I suggest Rose Hip Oil. I used to have flakey skin but I use it twice a day now and it's fixed that problem completely.

Try sugar ( yes the one in your cupboard) , use it to gently exfoliate the area where its flaking , its natural , not tested on animals , pretty cheap and it also works ( i`ve tri ed it myself)

Just remember, super glue was originally developed for closing small cuts wounds.

I was just about to suggest that..
make sure whatever you're washing your face with is a mild soap too.
If you have this available where you are try
lancome hydra Zen cream
Its a little pricey but works to restore your skin then balances it out.

The problem seems to have gone, now I just have to work out how to unstick my finger from the bridge of my nose! =^.^=
Weird one though, I stopped using any moisturiser and the flaking went away...can't have been an allergy since I use the same one all the time. Strange. Ah well.
and @ Moonlight Wolf - never thought of that but yeah, sugar and washing up liquid makes a great hand cleaner to get ink or waterbased paints off.
