Gay teen chat room??

I think that we should have a room for gay teens now that the room is 18+...a place to kick all the underages in the room. Teen chat isnt rele that gay friendly but this would be a place they could go. Just wanted to know everyones opinion.

How about this has been discussed several times but seems you must have missed it. If you had a seperate gay teen chat all that would happen is the rest of the kids will log in purely to harass any genuine young gay people there.

Better still some older so called gays would use any gay teen room to prowl whilst posing as younger users.

Also, like Cat said - alot of the older chatters in the room are adults looking for teenagers. What'll happen then is that a TEENAGE room will be full of ADULT men, making more work for the mods, to keep OVER agers out. The word "Teen" just draws perverts in.

Chatters can't behave in the rooms we have already, so why would a Gay Teen Chat be any different? Just exactly what would confused gay teens actually derive from such a room? I'm sure you guys really think that all those kids will do is chat and discuss gay issues. They won't. They'll flood the place with fake email addies, links, numbers and trash. On top of that other teens and even adults will log in to do the same, or bash/stalk/groom impressionable gay kids.

Also such a room would have to be moderated 100%, and if you can't get mods now to put in the time in rooms, how do you think they'll mod that one? Everyone has noble intentions, but the novelty wears off after a while.
