How did you feel about Gay people in general when you were in the closet?

I don't think I've ever seen this question come about on here. But, when you were in the closet, what ever age that might be, did you feel, evnvious, prejudice? etc, etc. of other gay men/women.

The only time I was around another gay person when I was in the closet, ( that I know of), was in high school when there was this Indroduction thing we were doing because a new kid, had stated, after His intro , he announced he was Gay. I was happy to see that there was one in highschool, but I was definitely envious because I felt I wasn't as 'strong' as these other people were.

I remember a friend of me telling me that there were two guys in His street that were boyfriends, and I was real envious of that at the time,too. Because of course that is what I wanted at the time, but I was in that closeted mind set at the time.

How did You feel...?

I just kept trying to get out That was my main focus I couldn't see nothing but random clothes!

I felt envious of other gay men/teens when I was 16 or 17. I had the feeling that they were confident about who and what they were. And I wanted that same confidence. I talked to a few guys about my feelings, and was eventaully able to gain that same confidence.

All the out gay people i have met in my life i think have been ... funny talkative and shameless but in a good way like they where prowd of being gay and i all ways wanted to be mates with them but because ime a closet case it was impossible.

I'll be honest.......I always put down gay people in front of my friends using the ever famous F word.......I was never mean to them to their faces I just talked bad about them...but the I came out and I lived happily ever after with my bf of 10 months now......Yay me! lol...
