Default Rap sucks, in my opinion

Rap is quite possibly the worst music genre around. I mean, if you actually read the lyrics on-line, you will find that it is offensive and degrading towards women. I wish I was around during the 1960s, when music was good. The Four Seasons (my favorite band), The Beatles, The Rolling Stones, Herman's Hermits, The Grass Roots, Mamas & the Papas-- These were the greatest bands of all time. Today, we've got crap like Green Day, The Black Eyed Peas, Panic! at the Disco, Kanye West, 50 Cent, Lil Jon, and Eminem. I can't believe people actually listen to crap like that. The Killers are, in my opinion, the best band currently together. I've read some of the latter bands' lyrics, and they are terrible!! There's also Jessica and Ashlee Simpson. Huh, talk about talentless bimbo's. If Ashlee Simpson is so freaking good, she certainly would put some effort into performing instead of faking it. As for Jessica Simpson...I really don't need to explain myself here. Bands in the 1960s, from videos I've watched on *******, never faked it during their performances. That is what I loved about them: They actually tried. I wish bands today would actually try to perform instead of mouthing the lyrics. At least then I'd have some respect for them. That was my rant.

Ok, You're definently missing out and your rant sucks. I'm actually kinda slightly getting into the earlier rap from the late 80's very early 90's (Up to about 94 then it all died.) And it isn't all about degrading women. Not to mention you named NOTHING but ****ty radio rock. Where's Black Sabbath? Iron Maiden? Judas Priest? Pagan Alter? Witchfinder General? Dio? Deep Purple? All old bands and all extremely awesome. As for faking, You need to really look into some good Metal and Hard Rock dude you're definently missing out, I don't listen to one band that doesn't put forth major effort into their music [WITH EXCEPTION to Goregrind and Modern Day Grindcore] and put on one hell of a live show. o_O; The Killers are simply horrible. ATLEAST try some Hard Rock like Disturbed or something.

Done yet?

Not all rap degrades women. There are different types of rap. There is also christian rap, and profanity-free rap. Annoys me that when people say rap, the first thing that pops into their mind is ***, money, drugs, and women.

Rap isnt all about bitches and ho's...the stuff you see on MTV is. Believe it or not there are other things in the music world besides MTV.

The Killers suck...

I hate both Simpson girls with a passion but BOTH can sing better than ANY artists that you listen to.

MONKEES....one more time, MONKEES

Wow, time to grow up pops.

Not all new music sucks. Your just unwilling to move foward. Most of the bands you mentioned are horrible, true, but you shouldn't assume all the music us crazy kids listen to is fake, or bad for that matter.

Gotta love tards who don't bother sticking their head out of the mainstream once in a while to see what's out there.

Yeah... some main stream is okay... But a lot of the underground music is pretty tight and the last thing they usually talk about is women.

Screw rock, you can't get crock of shit without rock after all. Lol@that!

What? You can't listen to these bands today?

And I disagree with you. Today's country is the worst.

And YOU suck, In Jesus's Opinion.

Lmao I'm Just Kidding..Jesus doesn't think you suck.

But Really..Get over the stereotypical rap image. Listen to some artist like...Papoose, Immortal Technique, Nas, C-Ray Walz,...Seriously...I'm not going to get mad at you because you haven't taken time out of your life to actually listen to a music genre's types of music before making fun of it..
