I have a bi/gay leaning more towards the same s3x friend that used to come to C-A but, left. This person after leaving C-A now says that C-A influenced and made them think they were gay when after leaving they discovered they aren't gay at all. So what's your thoughts on all of that?

I doubt it very much a Forum , or chat site can influence a person..
That is stupid to even suggest..
I think either you are or your not..
Nothing to do with Influence, or peer pressure..
Once again , I doubt it very much, Unless you are really Stupid...

It is a fact that many people have joined this forum as straight people even having girlfriends and such and have become gay people while on this forum.

The only thing I thought was possible is that being on the net and not actually being with the other person (in person)that it wouldn't matter as much about the s3x of the other person. Also I think for the most part gay people are found very much acceptable in C-A. Except by a handful of users. So maybe that comes in to play too?

Are they really Gay or Bi..
Or is just for attention...
I find it very hard, I have taken my straight friends to a gay nightclub.. They are Not gay , or claim to be Bi...
My friends that are straight have not been influenced, and are still straight..

I also wondered about this as well. Perhaps the person is really gay or bi but, it wasn't accepted in the homelife so they are trying to be straight?

That is a point, it seems if you want attentuion on this site then the way to get it is to be gay.
Maybe people feel ignored when just a straight person but accepted when they are gay on this site? And if they pretend to be gay enough then they start to feel that maybe they are gay?

I find that really over stated...
Gay or straight we are accepted.. yes you have the bunch of Haters..
But I wouldn't say I am Bi or Straight coz maybe it would make me more popular..
and i doubt a straight person would do the same, Unless they're not out in the real time and maybe just curious...

I'm not sure attention is what they are seeking but, maybe just not seeing a person face to face allows them to get close to the same s3x. I do believe though if they are pretending to be gay they can start thinking they are gay.
My mom always tells me Watch out acting like a christian you may just end up being one.

o0o I don't think it was used to be more popular or as an attention thing.

So why state the A chat forum Influences their choice..
If it is not accepted, within their real life they might turn to a Chat forum, but not that one turns just for a Popular Vote.. Especially what has been going here in the last week...
