I have had spots since I turned 12, people kept saying I would grow out of it and I never have. Recently I have been using clearsil ultra wipes, using nivea soft moisturiser after because clearsil gives me dry, cracked skin. Will this work or does anyone know any other things to help get rid of spots?

Boots is your friend. Well, mine at least. I don't really ever get a lot of spots. They kinda all go then a few come and then go again. I have never used wipes though. To me they don't really look like they'll do much cleaning. Just drag the oil or whatever on your face about so I always use washes.
Firstly: ![]() To "clean deep down" so that my skin is left "soft and smooth". Secondly: ![]() It's like some kind of watery lotion thing. It says that "tingling is normal" and it helps to "cleanse, tones and helps prevent blemishes". I usually use that before I go to bed if I haven't washed my face with the rest of the shit I have. Thirdly: ![]() This could be better than the moisturiser you have as it's oil free. Otherwise you're just covering your nice clean face in more crap. I also never cover my whole face in it, just the dry bits if any occur. Fourthly: ![]() These don't seem to work. Remove blackheads my arse. Although, I've never seen anything that removes/prevents them. Fifthly: ![]() I have this wash which is a "3 in 1" wash for spot control. Lastly: ![]() Then this just "for fun" really. For "the fresh glow of a professional spa-facial". I've also got a Tea Tree and Witch Hazel spot wand, it has two ends, one for the day and one for night so I usually use the night time one. I've also had Tea Tree and Witch Hazel peel off masks which are lots of fun and only £1. Plus I've had Tea Tree and Witch Hazel nose strips which I need to buy more of, actually. It'll end up costing you a fortune. Having said all this, my auntie is almost 50 and still gets spots. Also my friend uses quite a lot of boots stuff and it doesn't really look like it works for her. You could always go to the doctors if you think you have a real problem. |

When I use the clearsil wipes they do end up dirty, so they gotta be doing something but it makes my face sting like hell and dries up my skin, i did use neutragena for a while too but that made me get more spots. =[

I used to have bad dose of that as well. I was on countless creams and whatnot. But recently the doctor put me on this liquid stuff called ''Aknemycin Plus''. It's really good, although it does make your skin feel dry and stings a little. But after half hour, you can wash your face and/or moisturise with face cream to make it nice and smooth again, and the results after a few days are good.
Another suggestion (is what my mum had) is Elizabeth Arden. It's for skin irritations such as spots, cracked skin, dry skin, burns, sunburn and whatnot. You can buy it from Boots or any decent Chemist, and that really targets the problem. It's pricy though around £8 but hey it's worth it.

I dont know what to suggest in terms of getting rid of them
BUT in the meantime I can suggest two AMAZING products that can cover them up 1. Cover FX powder (this one is expensive BUT worth it as it was made with the purpose of covering bad burns and scars and skin problems) I have the powder FX....I have friends with scars and they swear by this stuff heres the site: http://www.coverfx.com/products/index.html 2. Marcelle dual cream to powder foundation (its super light so not heavy and cakey...and it really blends in with your skin...you cant even tell its on you) It's the second image on this site:http://www.marcelle.com/English/make...&cSubCat_id=27 maybe you should check out their skin care products too...Ive never tried them |

I use either simple or johnsons cleansing wipes to remove my makeup, then i use simple facial wash. It's got no soap or anything extra in so it's gentle on your skin. I use aqueous cream to moisturise as it's water based and again doesn't have anything in. Also drink plenty of water to keep your skin hydrated. Try taking vitamins too or using a vitamin e cream on your skin.
