Flats

I noticed cute flats a year ago in the store, and ever since, I've liked the idea and look of them.

But lately, they seem to all be ugly or not very practical, something's always wrong with them.


Anyone know a good store/brand for flat shoes?


I was in Journeys yesterday, and was severly disappointed.
No one seems to have what I want.

I only have a black pair that have a little bow on each shoe....basically they are an exact replica of a pointe shoe except in an everyday shoe form...not a dance shoe form.

I also used to have this super cool pair of heels that had tiey things that laced around the leg like that of a pointe shoe....god I loved them but I have no idea where they are now. I think theyre in mom's attic.

In terms of brand names and stores I really have no idea what to suggest since you live in the US so sorry

I'm a huge fan of the Ann Taylor's collections - and very comfortable and stylish, but you have to be into that look. Another is Nine West, which is one of my all-time favorite stores, but you've to dig for the comfy stuff, they're usually more strappy. [It's summer so the look is changing again.] I know DSW is my bff's fave, although they don't have one where I live, so I can't say personally. Everything she gets there is adorable, though. Hope this helps?

Yeah, I know you're thinking - they're hideous, but I swear to god, Crocs are the most comfortable shoes you will ever own. Mine are blue tie-dye, tho.

Yea, that's what I've heard.

I saw a really hot girl at the mall, and I was like, oh, people would think she was so hot, but then she was wearing yellow Crocs.
They were Corona though, so I guess that made them cool.

There's this store in London, called "Topshop" it's pretty fucking amazing. They have cute flats and Kate Moss even designs for them, which is a plus.

But before you say, "well..that's in London," they have one in New York too and you can order online.

Also the flats at Nine West are pretty decent looking.

But if you want the simple basic flats then Rue 21.
