Default Coming soon to a computer screen near you.

Depends on how much I earn in the next 4 weeks depends on how fast it will be put together.

I am leaving off to Idaho for 1 month in 4 weeks.. so yeah I won't be able to work on it there.

I've decided to go all out.

I'm going to get the engine parts coated in special protective barriers.. and heat coatings... (header... crankshaft journal cam boss valves)

I'm going to get bearings milled in.

I'm going with titanium LARGE valves and titanium rod bolts.

I'm not sure if I wanna go with at billet aluminum 3hp flywheel

The head is going to be shaved to 268 thousandths

I was going to go with a 113 cam.. which has a 556 lift and 10 thousand rpm target.

However this is impractical because it produces so much power it will bust the lifter bores and will blow the rings.

I am going with a 94ss cam.. it produces the most power without being hard on the block. 7000 rpm target

My piston is a wiseco 100 over piston

My rod is a arc 4.475 limited modified rod. 600 thousandths longer than stock

My carb is a 368 tillotson alky carb..

O.k, explain just a little about what it will be and what you plan for it to be fitted into, I assume it's a motorcycle engine, but who know's you might be putting it into a go-kart or buggy of some sort...

Also I hope you post your progress, I will be looking foward to the final outcome

btw: is that a skirmish gun in the background

It's a standard briggs ic 5 hp.

That motor has been in kart racing in the us for over 30 years.

So many parts developed for it

It's gonna pump out around 30 hp

It's going on a fun kart... aka my 60 mph death machine

I'mma have to weld up a live axle on my kart but that will come later.. $$$

I most certainly will. I may even spring for a dyno test to see how much she can make.

XD Yes it is.. if you mean paint ball gun.

A little off topic but.... I always wanted a paintball gun, but you must have a full firearms licence in aus to have one

And also, I had 2 frames for sale not long ago, one was a buggy with rollcage and wheels (home made no motor) and the other was an arrow race frame, but they got sold a few weeks back though, the buggy I got $100, but the arrow I got $250 which he got very cheap considering it never got used and cost me over $1000...

lol @ dyno testing a go-kart, never seen how they do that

That sucks, I can understand though... people get shot in the temple and they're paralyzed

Who did the welding on the buggy?

Looool. Noo... you just don't go to a car dyno and spin the big old drums.

For a kart... it's an engine dyno... (clutch connected to dyno by chain)

lmao, I was picturing in my head a go-lart on a mini-dyno EDIT: I mean miniture rollers
and I did most of the welding... I had a fair bit of help shaping and tacking the frame.

Got pics?

I'll post a pic of my custom exhaust I made for this intek today.. or tomorrow.

It's pretty funky.. I used two 90 degree bends to make an s shaped pipe

I'm going to cut/grind the tip of the exhaust into a peak.

I wonder how it will sound...

Default Update

I'll be going with a 107-SS dynocam.. They are made right here in North Carolina.

A 94-SS just doesn't meet the needs of my carb.

A 107-SS has an rpm target of 8500.. a lift of 315 thousandths...

Compared to the 94-SS at 7000 and 268 lift..

I won't be able to shave the head as much but I'll be able to still take it down 185 thousands.

The bigger cam will make up for the loss in compression.

But most important of all... a 107-SS is not hard on the block.

I'm also going with performance goodies with my carb.

I've decided to go with an arc 3hp billet flywheel.

Default Mufflers are for granny's who drive 6 cylinder Buicks.

I made this header for my intek engine
I don't have any header paint.. so it's still in it's raw steel form.

I used the flange from a stock muffler.. then pieced together 3 pipes, two of them are 90 degree bends

This is what they call a snake exhaust.

The audio... it's louder in real life.. my audio will only go so high in volume.
