2. Use License and Your Content

2.1 Our Materials

Permission is granted for the temporary use of the chat rooms, webcams, and forums on #1 Chat Avenue's website for personal, non-commercial use only. This is a grant of service, not a transfer of title. Under this license, you may not:

• Modify or copy the materials
• Use the materials for any commercial purpose, or for any public display (commercial or non-commercial)
• Attempt to decompile or reverse engineer any software contained on #1 Chat Avenue's website
• Remove any copyright or other proprietary notations from the materials
• Transfer the materials to another person or "mirror" the materials on any other website or server

This license shall automatically terminate if you violate any of these restrictions and may be terminated by #1 Chat Avenue at any time.

2.2 Your Content

"Your content" means anything you post or transmit through this platform — messages, images, profile pictures, background images, webcam and voice, forum and blog posts, and your username.

• You keep ownership of your content. We do not claim to own it, and we do not sell it.
• By posting it, you grant #1 Chat Avenue a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to host, store, copy, display, transmit, and distribute that content for the purpose of operating this service — which is simply what allows your messages to reach the people you are talking to and your pictures to appear on your profile.
• That licence also covers moderating your content: examining it, flagging it, removing it, and retaining what we must retain in order to enforce these Terms, to keep enforcement records, and to meet our legal obligations — including preserving and reporting child sexual abuse material to the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children (NCMEC) and to law enforcement.
• This licence does not mean we archive your conversations. We do not store logs of chat conversations. What we keep, and for how long, is set out in our Privacy Policy.
• You confirm that the content is yours to post — that you own it or have the rights you need, and that posting it does not infringe anyone else's rights or break the law.
• We may remove, refuse, or restrict any content at any time, with or without notice, and we are not obliged to store or return it to you.
• The licence ends when the content is removed from the platform, except to the extent we must keep a copy for the legal, safety, and enforcement purposes described above.

3. Age Limitations

The age limit for this room is:

• Minimum age: 13 years old. There is no upper age limit.

This applies to everyone, without exception. We actively look for accounts belonging to anyone under 13 and remove them, including accounts that have been in use for a long time. Removal is not limited to accounts that are reported to us.

Giving a false age in order to gain access to this chat room is a serious violation of these Terms. It is treated as a deliberate attempt to defeat a child safety control, and it is one of the strongest signals we act on. Accounts that do it are removed, and where an adult has misrepresented their age in order to reach children, we treat that as a child safety matter and act on it accordingly under section 5.

We also provide a child safety feature that prevents older users from sending private messages to younger users. This is enabled on your profile by default, and we strongly recommend leaving it enabled.

4. User Conduct and Illegal Content

4.1 Zero-Tolerance Policy for Illegal Content

#1 Chat Avenue has a zero-tolerance policy for any form of illegal content in our chat rooms, forums, or anywhere on our platform. Users are strictly prohibited from using, uploading, or sharing:

• Illegal images, including child pornography (also known as Child Sexual Abuse Material, or CSAM)
• Pornographic material involving minors or children
• Any content advertising, offering, requesting, soliciting, or linking to such material, whether hosted on this platform or elsewhere
• Any other illegal content

This prohibition applies to all content types, including:

• Chat room messages and private messages
• Profile pictures, avatars, and image uploads or transfers
• Webcam broadcasts
• Usernames and account nicknames
• Forum and blog posts

4.2 Prohibited Conduct Towards Minors

In addition to the above, the following conduct is prohibited on this platform and will result in removal of the account:

• Any attempt to groom, sexually solicit, or sexually exploit a minor
• Requesting sexual images or webcam content from a minor
• Offering money, gifts, credits, or other incentives in exchange for images, contact, or secrecy
• Pressuring a user to move a conversation to another platform or application in order to avoid moderation
• Asking a user to keep a conversation secret from parents, guardians, or moderators
• Adults misrepresenting their age in order to access this chat room or to communicate with minors

4.3 Content Removal and Enforcement

#1 Chat Avenue removes illegal content promptly once discovered or reported. Users who post illegal content face consequences including being muted, kicked, or permanently banned, and in appropriate cases being reported to law enforcement and relevant authorities. We reserve the right to:

• Remove such content immediately
• Suspend or terminate offending accounts
• Report incidents to appropriate authorities as required by law

5. Safety and Moderation Systems

5.1 How #1 Chat Avenue Protects Users

• Automated message analysis deployed across #1 Chat Avenue, examining chat room and private messages for indicators of child sexual exploitation and abuse (see section 5.3)
• Automated CSAM image scanning across our entire domain, matching images against hash lists of known child sexual abuse material maintained by child protection organisations, so that known material is identified even where it has never been reported to us
• An easy-to-use reporting system that notifies our moderation team immediately
• Active monitoring of chat room content by human moderators
• Proactive monitoring of chat rooms, forums, and blogs for illegal content or behaviour
• Block and ignore features, so you can stop any user contacting you
• A private message control that prevents older users from messaging younger users, enabled by default

5.2 How #1 Chat Avenue Enforces Violations

Our enforcement approach is designed to ensure that our safety rules are applied in practice, not just stated in policy:

• Proactive monitoring of content by human moderators
• Prompt action on content reported through the in-chat reporting tools
• Immediate takedown of content and action against the account that posted it
• Immediate and permanent banning, without warning, for the clearest categories — child sexual abuse material, the advertising or sale of sexual content involving minors, and the sexual solicitation of a minor
• Direct cooperation with law enforcement agencies, as set out in section 5.4

5.3 Automated CSEA Detection

#1 Chat Avenue deploys an automated CSEA detection system across our platform. It examines messages, including private messages, for the indicators of child sexual exploitation and abuse — the patterns of grooming, sexual solicitation, and the trading or selling of child sexual abuse material.

Matches are assessed in context and routed to a dedicated review queue, where a trained human reviewer reads the messages and makes the decision. Automated systems record and prioritise; apart from the narrow categories set out in 5.2, they do not act alone.

5.4 Cooperation with Law Enforcement

#1 Chat Avenue works directly with law enforcement and child protection agencies internationally. This cooperation is active and ongoing rather than a matter of policy language:

• We cooperate directly with verified law enforcement personnel investigating offences against children, and give investigators the access and support they need to carry out that work on our platform
• We work with law enforcement agencies internationally, including national and federal agencies
• We respond to lawful requests for account and content information from law enforcement, in accordance with applicable law and our Privacy Policy
• We report illegal activity to the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children (NCMEC) and to other appropriate authorities as required by law

5.5 Limits of Our Systems

No safety system is complete, and we do not claim otherwise. Our systems operate on this platform only. We cannot see, monitor, or act on conversations that continue on another website, messaging application, game, or social network. Moving a conversation off this platform is one of the most common steps in online exploitation, and it is the point at which our protection ends and your own judgment must take over.

5.6 If Someone Is at Risk of Harm

Sometimes a conversation stops being about the chat room. If someone talks about hurting themselves, about suicide, or about being hurt by another person, take it seriously and tell a moderator straight away. You will never be in trouble for reporting something like this, and you do not need to be certain — it is always better to tell us.

• Report it immediately using the in-chat reporting tools, or by sending a private message to a moderator.
• Our moderators may intervene in the conversation, remove content, or contact the user directly.
• Where we believe there is a credible risk to someone's life or safety, we may contact emergency services or law enforcement and provide them with the information we hold, as described in our Privacy Policy.
• Encouraging, instructing, or pressuring another person to harm themselves is prohibited and results in immediate removal of the account.

6. Disclaimer

The content on #1 Chat Avenue's website is provided "as is". #1 Chat Avenue makes no warranties, expressed or implied, and hereby disclaims and negates all other warranties, including without limitation, implied warranties or conditions of:

• Merchantability
• Fitness for a particular purpose
• Non-infringement of intellectual property or other violation of rights

Furthermore, #1 Chat Avenue does not warrant or make any representations concerning the accuracy, likely results, or reliability of the use of the content on its website or otherwise relating to such content or on any sites linked to this site.

7. Limitation of Liability

In no event shall #1 Chat Avenue be liable for any damages (including, without limitation, damages for loss of data or profit, due to business interruption, or criminal charges filed against you) arising out of the use or inability to use the content on #1 Chat Avenue's website, even if #1 Chat Avenue or a #1 Chat Avenue authorized representative has been notified orally or in writing of the possibility of such damage.

This applies to the use of our chat rooms, forums, and webcams. Because some jurisdictions do not allow limitations on implied warranties, or limitations of liability for consequential or incidental damages, these limitations may not apply to you.

8. Important Safety Disclaimer

Our moderation systems and safety tools are designed to help maintain a positive environment, but they are not a substitute for active supervision, responsible parenting, or personal judgment. Users, especially minors, should be guided by parents or guardians in how they interact online. Staying safe on the internet — being cautious with strangers and protecting personal information — is ultimately a personal responsibility.

9. Revisions and Errata

11. Governing Law

Any claim relating to #1 Chat Avenue's website shall be governed by the laws of the location of its webhosting servers without regard to its conflict of law provisions.

13. In-Chat Games and Virtual Currency (Gold)

#1 Chat Avenue offers games within the chat — which may include dice, a slot machine, a spin wheel, and room lotteries — as part of the chat experience. The following terms apply to those games and to Gold:

• The games are for entertainment only. They are a feature of the chat room, not a product in their own right.
• These games are not gambling. No real money is ever staked on them and no real-money prize can ever be won. The only thing at stake is Gold, which has no monetary value.
• Gold has no cash value and is not property. Holding Gold gives you no ownership right and no entitlement to money. It is a revocable licence to use a feature inside the chat, and nothing more.
• Gold cannot be sold, traded for money, transferred off our platform, redeemed, or withdrawn. Buying or selling Gold for real money, on or off this website, is prohibited and will result in removal of the accounts involved.
• Where Gold or VIP can be purchased, your payment is for access to features within the chat, not for a store of value, and is non-refundable except where a refund is required by law.
• If your account is banned, your entire Gold balance is forfeited and no compensation of any kind is due.
• We may adjust, reset, or remove Gold balances where we identify cheating, exploitation of a fault in a game, automated or scripted play, or a payment dispute or chargeback.
• We may change, suspend, or discontinue any game, or the Gold system itself, at any time, without notice and without compensation.
• Game outcomes are final. We do not restore Gold lost through play, through a disconnection, or through your own mistake.

14. Account Security

Your account is yours, and keeping it secure is partly your responsibility:

• Keep your password to yourself. You are responsible for activity that takes place under your account.
• Do not share your account or let anyone else use it. One account belongs to one person.
• Do not reuse a password from another website. If that site is breached, your account here is breached with it.
• We will never ask you for your password — not moderators, not administrators, not anyone claiming to work for us. Anyone who asks is trying to steal your account. Report them.
• Tell us immediately if you believe someone else has accessed your account, using the reporting tools or by contacting us.
• We may lock an account, force a password reset, or suspend access where we believe an account has been compromised or is being used by someone other than its owner.
• Creating additional accounts to evade a mute, kick, or ban is a violation of these Terms and will result in the removal of every account involved.

15. Acceptable Use of Our Systems

These rules protect the service itself. They apply to everyone, and we enforce them automatically as well as manually:

• No bots, scripts, or automated access. Do not use automated tools to register accounts, log in, post messages, send private messages, or interact with the chat in any way.
• No scraping, crawling, or harvesting. Do not collect user names, profile information, images, or any other data from this platform by automated means, and do not compile or republish it.
• No probing or testing our security. Do not scan, probe, or attempt to breach this platform, and do not attempt to access accounts, data, or areas that are not yours.
• No evading our controls. Do not attempt to bypass bans, blocks, rate limits, word filters, or any other enforcement measure, including by using proxies or VPNs to return after a ban.
• No interfering with the service — no flooding, no deliberate overloading, and nothing intended to disrupt the platform or other users' access to it.
• No malware. Do not upload, post, or link to anything designed to harm a device, steal credentials, or compromise an account.
• We use automated systems to detect this activity, and we may block, rate-limit, or permanently ban accounts, devices, and networks engaged in it, without notice.

16. Suspension, Termination and Complaints

16.1 Our Right to Suspend or Remove an Account

We may mute, kick, suspend, or permanently remove any account, at any time, with or without notice, where we believe these Terms or the Rules have been broken, or where it is necessary to protect other users. We may also remove content without removing the account.

• Most enforcement is graduated — a warning, a mute, a kick, then a ban — but we are not required to warn you first.
• The most serious categories carry no warning at all and result in an immediate permanent ban: child sexual abuse material, the sexual solicitation or grooming of a minor, and the advertising or trading of such material.
• If your account is removed, your Gold balance is forfeited and no refund is due, including for any unexpired VIP.
• You may stop using the service at any time. If you want your account removed, contact us using the form below.

16.2 How to Complain or Appeal

If you think we have got something wrong, tell us. That includes a moderator decision, a mute, a kick, a ban, content we removed, or content we did not remove after you reported it. There are three ways to reach us:

• Our contact form — the best route if you are banned and cannot get into the chat.
• Our chat forums, where you can raise it with staff.
• Directly with a moderator — look for the shield icon at the top of the user list and send a private message. This route is only available if you are not banned; if you are, use the contact form or the forums.

It helps us if you include your username, the room, roughly when it happened, and what you think went wrong. We will look at it and reply. A decision may be upheld, reduced, or reversed, and where we got it wrong we will say so and put it right.

17. Additional Information

#1 Chat-Avenue is not a Marriage Broker and is exempt from the International Marriage Broker Regulation Act (IMBRA). We are not a matchmaking service, nor do we offer any service that can be considered a marriage broker. We discourage the sharing of ANY personal information with others.

18. Changes to Terms of Use

#1 Chat Avenue may revise these terms of use at any time without notice. By using this website, you agree to be bound by the then-current version of these Terms and Conditions of Use. If you cannot agree to this, please do not use this website.
