We have a new exciting feature to announce. Web cams and voice calling is back!
In some of our free chat rooms we are allowing either web cam streaming, audio calls or both. The service is currently limited to VIP users. It is currently available on a free to use basis.
VIP members will be able to call any user in the chat room including guests and regular users. Simply go to a users profile and click the call link. Then you will be prompted to make a selection:
The receiver of the call will be able to accept or decline the call with a simple click of the button.
Depending on which browser you are using, there will be a prompt for you to allow our website to connect to your microphone and/or internal webcam. You will need to click the Allow button to enable this.
It’s really that simple.
For users who do not want to receive calls from other users, you can turn off calls in your preferences. Simply go to Edit Profile > More > Preferences and select the OFF choice under Calls.
