7. Age Restrictions
Our applications and website has a minimum age requirement of 13 years. No sections are specifically targeted at, or intended for use by, "children" or "preteens" under the age of 13. We do not believe users under the age of 13 should be participating in live chat sessions at that age. This website is a general audience website intended for many age groups but the 12 and under age group is not one of them. Depending on the actual chat room, the demographics can vary. For example, for the Teen Chat, 13 year old kids and teens or 14 year old kids and teens are allowed to participate on their own accord. We have blocked out users declared under 13 from logging in or registering on our chat rooms or forums. There are other various warnings and tools that have been implemented throughout the website to ensure that users fully understand this age restrictions and limitation. We do not knowingly allow anyone under this age to use our website. If known, either through discovery or a report submitted to us, the account will be terminated as soon as reasonably possible. If you, as a parent or guardian, have discovered that a child (who is under 13) has registered for a chat account or message forum account using a false age to bypass our age check, please contact us with your child's message forum username or chat username and we will have that account and any message postings he/she made deleted. An investigation and conclusion that the user is indeed under the age of 13 needs to be processed first but will be actioned promptly.
Important Note: The Teen chat is for older kids, youths and teenagers. Specifically, users aged 13-19 years old. Again, it not directed to users deemed as "young children" which would encompass users of a much younger age and below 13 years of age. Our moderators will, on occasion, implement their own age verification process via the private messaging system to prevent users under the age of 13 to continue to participate. This will only be used if an administrator or moderator suspects the user to not meet the age requirements. Moderators will also action submitted reports of when a user is known or self declared in text that they do not comply with the age restrictions of our website. Our reporting system will directly submit their age declaration to a moderator for review. Our moderation team has also been instructed to verify and action any users who they might suspect as being overage or underage for a particular chat room. You must be a registered user in order to chat in this room. In order to participate in private chat, some chat rooms may require to declare your age. By default, private messaging cannot be made between those users 18 and over and 16 and under.There are several rooms which are strictly for users 18 and over. They are the Adult Chat, the Gay Chat, and sex chat rooms. Due to the content of the rooms, they are constantly monitored and strictly enforced to ensure users underage will be removed. However, you, as a user, will be held solely responsible for your actions if you participate in those chat rooms.
8. User Generated Content
You may not post, submit or upload user generated content that is illegal, defamatory, harassing, violent, obscene, or otherwise offensive or harms other users or people in any way. This applies to all content whether or not such content is protected by law. We reserve the right to edit or remove any profile or content that we deem to be inappropriate or illegal material. This includes about me sections, user profile moods or profile/background pictures, forum signatures or blog comments. It is solely based on our own discretion. We may also take a snapshot of the content if we feel it is necessary for submission towards any future legal proceedings held against you.
Child Sexual Abuse Material (CSAM) is strictly prohibited. Any uploads to our platform of this material including, but not limited to, the intended sale or distribution of CSAM will be met with strict force. Your IP address and any other information we have on you will be forwarded to the appropriate online agencies and law enforcement. a. Hateful Content
#1 Chat Avenue does not tolerate any form of hateful or violent content in our chat rooms or on our forums. This includes threats, promotion of violence or direct attacks towards other users based upon ethnicity, race, religion, sexual orientation, religion affiliation, age, disability, serious diseases and gender. Users also are prohibited from using hateful images for their profile pictures/avatars. This includes usernames. All such comment will be removed when noticed or reported to our staff. Discussion of sensitive topics such as Suicide and firearms or terrorism is forbidden as well.
b. Illegal Content
#1 Chat Avenue has a zero-tolerance policy for any form of illegal content in our chat rooms, forums, or anywhere on our platform. Users are strictly prohibited from using, uploading, or sharing illegal images, including child pornography (also known as Child Sexual Abuse Material or CSAM) and any other illegal content. This prohibition applies to all content types, including profile pictures, avatars, image uploads or transfers, as well as usernames and account nicknames.
If you encounter any pornographic material involving minors or children, please report it immediately to our Administrator at [email protected]. Users who post illegal content will face consequences such as being kicked, banned, and, in most cases, reported to law enforcement and relevant authorities.

Further action may be taken, including but not limited to, contacting law enforcement and/or agencies such as the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children (NCMEC) for the uploading, distribution or promotion of Child Sexual Abuse Material (CSAM). We will then share all information that we have on your with these agencies.
d. Selling of Goods or Services
We do not allow selling of any sort of services or goods through our platform including advertising and promotional materials and content. This encompasses all channels we offer here (forums, blogs or chat). Selling of sexual or illegal material or services is subject to referral to law enforcement (in addition to a permanent ban). That is a major violation of, not only our website, but many local laws.
e. Intellectual Property Rights
We do not allow posting of content that violates third-party intellectual property rights. If you do not own the content, please do not post it.
f. Personal Details or Information
Do not post somebody's personal or private details or information. This includes yourself and third parties.
